Bob Brinkman, Coordinator, Historical Markers Program, Texas Historic Commission, responded to my earlier email about the Georgia Battalion website. He included attachments of the various types of applications, types of markers, and the list of county historic commission chairs. As per my request he gave his approval on Jan. 5 for me to post the email and attachments on the website. They appear under the Texas Historical Commission tab.
