Bob Davis (a professor of history) responded to the website announcement of Oct. 5.

Bob and I had been in email correspondence from July 26 to Oct. 3, 2011, during which time he gave me gave me permission is use his articles on the website and provided helpful research leads.

By the way, I contacted the guy mentioned in my article above who thought that at least photographs of the flags captured at Goliad had survived. He has now concluded that all of the flags, including the famous one of the Georgia Battalion, were destroyed immediately after the battle.
