I added Edward Miller’s book New Orleans and the Texas Revolution to the Bibliography.  Miller tells an amazingly complex story of the financial and political powers operating outside of Texas itself during the revolution.  Of particular interest is the story of the New Orleans Greys, a volunteer group whose origins and fate paralleled those of the Georgia Battalion.
